The result is worth stating because it cuts against how legal software is usually marketed here. Nigerian lawyers search overwhelmingly for the law itself and for the incumbents, not for software categories.

Two conclusions follow, and the first one is not in our commercial interest. Research access is the felt need in this market, and the incumbents have served it for years. Primsol is the research arm of LawPavilion and pairs PRIME, an analytics-supported research application built on one of the most heavily cited electronic law report libraries in Nigeria, with a Solicitors’ and Arbitrators’ Toolkit holding agreements and court forms. The second conclusion is that almost nobody in Nigeria is searching for practice management software, which does not mean firms do not need it. It means the category has not been sold here, and most practices still run matters on WhatsApp, Excel and a shared drive while paying for a research subscription that does nothing about any of it.
