LawPavilion has been the dominant legal research platform in Nigeria for years, and it has not stood still:

Depth of Nigerian case law: its library of Nigerian judgments is extensive, well maintained and runs further back than ours. If your practice turns on older authority, that depth is a real advantage.
LPELR: LawPavilion publishes the LPELR electronic report series, which is widely cited in Nigerian courts. The series is its publication.
AI of its own: it launched Prime GPT and Primsol GPT in August 2023 and now markets LawPavilion AI as an AI legal assistant for research and analysis. LawPavilion’s research, AI assistant, drafting tools and case management are sold as distinct products. ModulawAI runs them in one workspace, so a written address you draft is attached to the matter it belongs to, the authorities in it link back to the judgments, and the matter’s deadlines sit next to both. Whether that matters depends on how much of your day is spent carrying work between tools.

2. Drafting inside Microsoft Word

ModulawAI’s Word add-in brings research, drafting, citation insertion and review into a Word sidebar, with suggestions returned as tracked changes. LawPavilion does not offer a Word add-in, so its research and AI tools run in a separate window from the document.
